I heard his father was a member of Irgun, a group that blew up hotels(like the King David Hotel) and train stations in the 30′s and 40′s. Furthermore, why isn’t Fox News covering this? Since they will cover the most specious claims, it seems this would be a relatively big deal.
yes, it is true.
Is it true that Rahm Emanuel’s father was a terrorist?
Palestine 1946 King David Hotel Bomb Warning Controversy
how can israel complain about terrorism when its founders were terrorists?
look at Begin for instance. he blew up the King David Hotel and then they complain about terror???
This is perfectly true.
The terrorist gangs in Palestine in the 1940s were formed from illegal jewish immigrants from Europe who carried out many atrocities against the British Administration and the local Christian and Muslim population.
The most notorious is the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem when 90 innocent people were killed.
They also murdered the British minister to the Middle East , Lord Moyne , in 1940, the UN representative Count Bernadotte in 1947 and many hostages both civilians and soldiers.
They invented the car bomb and the letter bomb, and their methods have been copied by terrorist organisations ever since.
Many of the terrorists became government ministers in 1948
Israel is the most successful terrorist state in the world and they are still terrorising the Palestinians
When is a terrorist not a terrorist?
When he’s a freedom fighter of course. When Menachem Begin helped blow up the King David Hotel, was he a terrorist? When Yitzhak Shamir was in the Stern Gang assassinating opponents, was he a freedom fighter? Does anyone else find it a quirk of politics that if you live long enough you make the transition from terrorist to statesman?
nobody knew how to use terror like Mr. Begin et al

if bin laden is a terrorist, the isnt the former Prime Minister of Israel Begin also a terrorist?
he blew up the King David Hotel in Palestine and killed 93 people. doesnt that make him a terrorist? and if not, why not?
Yes he was a terrorist, at the time. So was Yasser Arafat, and he later won the Nobel Peace prize. In other words- terrorism does work in order to terrorise your opponents into making concessions.
By extension the "shock and awe" invasion of Iraq might also have been a terrorist action, since many people were terrified for a long time, and readily conceded to the US.
Zionist Bombing In Jerusalem 1946 (King David Hotel) – The birth of modern terrorism
This clip is from episode one of a British-made documentary from 2002 titled ‘The Age Of Terror’, and examines the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on 22nd July 1946 by Zionist-Jewish terrorists, in which the south wing of the hotel, then occupied by British civil-military authorities, was bombed killing ninety-one people. Twenty-eight of the victims were British, forty-one Arabic, while seventeen were Jewish.
The Zionist terrorists who carried-out the attack were known as the Irgun, and were led by a future prime minister of Israel, Menachem Begin. The King David Hotel bombing was an act of terrorism that is widely-considered to be the first real incidence of 20th century terrorism. It is most significant indeed that the narrator – British actor Sir Ian McKellen – unequivocally states that Zionist were the first terrorists of the 20th century. Sir Ian also states that terrorists of the future learned from the example set by Zionist Jews in 1946. He is correct on both points. That Jews invented modern-day terrorism is an indisputable fact. The Zionist state of Israel is the mother of terrorism as we know it.
It is somewhat ironic, although not at all surprising, that an Israeli should also be the architect of the ‘war on terror’. His name? Benjamin Netanyahu, another who has held office as prime minister of Israel. And also it is important to take a note of the dress code of the terrorists? If all failed on the day who would shoulder the blame of the attack on the innocent people? The Muslim Arabs no less, now can we draw comparisons to the same type of attack on civilians over half a century on. You decide!

Was this the worlds first act of terrorism. Zionist Jews bomb St. Davids hotel in Jerusalem in1946.?
Murdering 91 people including American and British civilians. A little ironic I think that these Zionists now accuse the Palestinians of terrorism when they pulled the trigger first. If you think, well that was 60 years ago, I can tell you that even today Israel still celebrates that sad event.!! Leopards never change their spots.

Mark your last remark is just what I would have expected from a Zionist sympathiser
Mark has some great examples but modern terrorism goes back even further. The Serbian Black Hand had Archduke Ferdinand murdered, there are countless explosions attributed to anarchists and Wobblies in the late 1800s to early 1900s, mobsters in the 1920s routinely bombed businesses that refused to pay protection money as an example and to scare other business owners, labor unions routinely fire bombed trucks that were driven by non-union workers during strikes, during the American Revolution, Tories and Americans were threatened, killed, and their houses and property burnt, and the list just goes on and on.
The hotel bombing was a terrible tragedy and the British were quite correct in being angry at Truman for ignoring the murders of so many soldiers that had recently fought side by side Americans versus the Axis because of domestic politics but it was hardly the first act of terrorism. However, so many forget the Palestinian terrorist activity too that was targeting both the British and the Jews both prior to and after the King David atrocity and the ethnic cleansing official policy was done by Israel -after the UN created their state and that of Palestine (which was aborted when the Arab armies invaded and divvied it up amongst them).
There was plenty of blame to go around and, IMHO, anyone who sides solely with either Zionists or Palestinians, or the Arabs is not thinking thing through. There are no good guys here.
