Is there any evidence that Queen Elizabeth II is descended from King David?

Posted by admin on June 29th, 2010 and filed under king david | 6 Comments »

My understanding is that Queen Elizabeth (and others) can supposedly trace their lineage back to Jesus, and through him, to Kind David and the House of David. It was Jesus’ s dad, Joseph, who was supposedly from the House of David….BUT if Mary really was a virgin, as we’re supposed to believe the virgin birth, then Jesus isn’t actually of the same bloodline as Joseph, just part of the same family (in a legal sense). Then how is Jesus from the same bloodline as King David? and by extention, Queen Elizabeth?

No, genealogists during the Middle Ages padded their family histories with mythical heroes and historical figures to enhance the prestige of their royal clients. During the Dark Ages, not even the kings could read, so many kingly pedigrees are essentially oral histories as told by bards who also enhanced their tales.

Elizabeth II can verify her lineage back to William I, the Conqueror, as can theoretically almost every one else in England, and from him back a little earlier. William (a.k.a. "William, the b*stard") was the illegitimate son of Robert I, Duke of Normandy. His mother, Herveva, was the daughter of Fulbert, a local tanner. William, however, was also the nephew of Queen Emma of Normandy, King Ethelred, the Unready, and King Canute, the Great. He used these claims to justify his invasion of England and his right to the English crown.

Robert I, William’s dad, was a descendant of Rollo, a Viking leader of contested origin, who beseiged Paris in 885. In 911, Rollo’s army was defeated at the Battle of Chartes by the French King, Charles, the Simple. Rather than paying Rollo to leave as was the usual custom, Charles bequeathed what is now known as Normandy to Rollo.

Norwegian and Icelandic historians believe that Rollo was a son of Rognvald Eysteinsson, Earl of Mere, in western Norway, who is also known as Rognvald, the Wise, Eysteinsson (son of Eystein Ivarsson), who founded the Earldom of Orkney (off the coast of Scotland) in the Norse Sagas. Monks recorded this history centuries after it occurred in the 12th-century "Historia Norwegiae". Unless "Eystein" is Jewish, that line stops here, although Elizabeth II can also trace her family tree back to Charlemagne and from there back to Saint Arnulf of Metz, son of Arnoald (582-640).

Finally, since Margaret Tudor married James IV of Scotland and her descendants married into the Hanover Dynasty, Elizabeth can verify her descent from Scottish kings back to Kenneth MacAlpin (d. 850), the legendary first King of the Scots–now that’s an achievement most likely duplicated by almost anyone of Scottish descent. Any one belonging to Clan Donald, for example, can theoretically trace back his or her descent to Kenneth I.

why does terrorism get such a bad press when using it gets you what you want?

Posted by admin on June 29th, 2010 and filed under king david hotel | 12 Comments »

just ask the Israelis
thanks to the zionist terror attack on the king david hotel the jews got a homeland

It doesn’t get you what you want in all cases. Look at 9/11 it just made us Americans angry with the perpetrators. So it doesn’t work. It is also bringing society to a low level of intelligence to use force to get what you want. We were given these incredible minds and the ability to solve problems intellectually not physically. Thats why terrorism gets bad press. It is a repressive and passe way to get what you want. Time to sit down and discus instead of reverting to animalistic behaviours.

why is it israel or Palestine considered the Holy Land?

Posted by admin on June 29th, 2010 and filed under holy land | 7 Comments »

when it’s full of violence among jewish and arabs.. meanwhile christians are in the middle.. I am catholic and I feel so bad that the land where jesus and the prophets lived is now suffering violence and each part of this land is something very appreciated but I don’t understand why doesn’t God stop this violence? I want to know if someday God will stop this violence and those groups who live now in the Holy Land will be able to live in Peace as God demand to love our enemies and to make the peace..

The violence is about Zionist Jews stealing what is not theirs!!!

Muslims ruled Palestine for over 1200 years. At that time it was holy and peaceful. Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived in that land and shared its beauty and Holiness. No one claimed any exclusive right to holy land back then.

The Zionist movement that spread in late 19th century among ATHEIST Europeans who were "blessed with Jewish mothers" called for building a Jewish-only state on an inhabited land by population transfer and ethnic cleansing.
Ben-Gurion wrote in 1937:
"With compulsory transfer we would have a vast area (for settlement) …. I support compulsory transfer. I don’t see anything immoral in it." (Righteous Victims, p. 144)

Even today, more than 80% of Israeli Jews are not Jews by religios meanings, but inharited Judaism from their mothers. Isn’t it odd that it is not the religious Jews who claim the "promised land to the chosen people" , it is the atheistic non-believing Jews who claim that honor?

Palestinian Muslims and Christians have always maintained their majority in the holy land who owned more than 90% of Palestinian land, while Jews were minority (mostly recent immigrants) who bought 7% of land:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_mandate_of_palestine#Population

Before Jewish immigration was financially encouraged by Jewish agency, Jews made 1.7% of population in Palestine. Non-Jewish percentage was 98.3 %

Palestine is not "Jewish homeland" and Jews do not come from Palestine. Jews are not a race or special people!

Jewish origin is often presented by Jewish historians themselves. Like Shlomo Zand, Arthur Kostler, Alfred M. Lilienthal and others!

"The Jewish racial myth flows from the fact that the words Hebrew, ‘Israelite’, Jew, Judaism, and the Jewish people have been used synonymously to suggest a historic continuity. But this is a misuse. These words refer to different groups of people with varying ways of life in different periods in history. Hebrew is a term correctly applied to the period from the beginning of Biblical history to the settling in Canaan. ‘Israelite’ refers correctly to the members of the twelve tribes of ‘Israel’. The name Yehudi or Jew is used in the Old Testament to designate members of the tribe of Judah, descendants of the fourth son of Jacob, as well as to denote citizens of the Kingdom of Judah, particularly at the time of Jeremiah and under the Persian occupation. Centuries later, the same word came to be applied to anyone, no matter of what origin, whose religion was Judaism. "
Dr. Alfred M. Lilienthal "What Price Israel?" (1953)

The Therteenth tribe :
"The book traces the history of the ancient Khazar Empire, a major but almost forgotten power in Eastern Europe, which in the Dark Ages became converted to Judaism. Khazaria was finally wiped out by the forces of Genghis Khan, but evidence indicates that the Khazars themselves migrated to Poland and formed the cradle of Western Jewry" who later claimed "historical ownership" of Palestine
Arthur Kostler -The Therteenth tribe

"There never was a Jewish people, only a Jewish religion, and the exile also never happened – hence there was no return. Zand rejects most of the stories of national-identity formation in the Bible, including the exodus from Egypt and, most satisfactorily, the horrors of the conquest under Joshua. It’s all fiction and myth that served as an excuse for the establishment of the State of Israel, he asserts."
Shlomo Zand – An invention called Jewish people.

How long have we got left before War in the Holy land triggers One world Control?

Present day conditions of World bancruptcy and uncontrollable polico-economic collapse seem to set the stage for the new world order .Add to this the coincidence of Palestinian conflagration and we appear to be close to the catalyst events of Armageddon. What other forecast is possible?

The new Israel (1948), Jerusalem the capital (1967), the rebuilding of the Temple (plans underway now)…I’d say within 3 years

King David In The Holy Bible (King Of Israel)

Posted by admin on June 26th, 2010 and filed under king david | 25 Comments »

The Kings of Israel are listed in the book of 1 Chronicles. There are also listed all the genealogies of Israel. Saul, the first ruler in Israel, was of the tribe of Benjamin. Saul was a ruler who became extremely jealous, because David was favored by God. Therefore Saul pursued him at every chance in order to slay him. However, Saul was never successful, although there were many close calls. Each time Saul came close to slaying him, a cry would go out to God and a way of escape would be provided. Saul’s reign ended by being overcome by the Philistines. In order not to be taken captive and abused by the enemies, Saul and the armor bearers fell on their swords and died. Since David was a strong leader of Israel even during the reign of Saul, the tribes set him as ruler over them, which they could not have done without God’s blessings. God told David earlier that he would shepherd Israel and rule over them. Therefore this prophecy came true.

King David in the Bible was a sheep herder prior to becoming ruler in Israel. The ruler was described as having a ruddy or red complexion. Second Samuel describes King David in the Bible as good-looking and having beautiful eyes. Samuel was commanded by God to anoint the lad to be king over Israel. Samuel knew the future ruler was in the house of Jesse. So, Samuel went to Jesse, asking that Jesse’s sons be brought before him. Upon reviewing them, Samuel declared that none of them were the anointed. At the time, the future ruler was tending sheep away from what was happening. Samuel asked Jesse if there were any more sons in the family, at which time David was brought before the prophet. Then, Samuel anointed David. However, he would not become ruler for quite some time. The lad would serve in the army under Saul and win many victories in battle, becoming well-known to the people of Israel for this time of military service. For these reasons, Saul would become jealous and begin pursuit of the future ruler.

David was one of the greatest kings of all the kings of Israel ever to reign. It is through the lineage of David that Jesus was born. The Bible follows his lineage up to the time of Christ. In fact, the Bible is the entire genealogical history of Jesus which includes the beginning of the creation of the world, and tells of man’s relationship to God. David had many sons from his wives and concubines. One of the most famous concubines was Bathsheba, who was the wife of Uriah the Hittite. Uriah was a soldier in Israel’s army. When David saw Bathsheba, he took her to bed, and sent her husband to the front where the battle was the most fearsome. There Uriah died, and God later judged David for this sin by allowing the child he had by Bathsheba to die. However, the second son born by Bathsheba would be used of God to build the temple. This child’s name was Solomon. Because of sinning with Bathsheba, God said a son would be the one to build this temple, even though it was David’s desire to do this. God decide the temple would be built by Solomon.

No matter where one reads in the scriptures about King David in the Bible, a picture of love is presented in many different forms. Each form includes some form of redemption from the sins committed by the people, and also includes God’s response of acceptance and love when they are back in the fold once again. Isn’t it wonderful that God loves us so much!

This ceremony takes place in the Orthodox Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem in such a way that bewilders the soul of the Christians. On Easter Saturday, at noon, the Orthodox Patriarch, or any other Orthodox Archbishop, enters the Holy Sepulchre, recites special prayers and remains waiting. Sometimes the waiting is long, sometimes short. The crowd, in the darkened church, repeats continually with a loud voice: “Lord, have mercy.” (Kyrie eleison). At a certain moment the Holy Light flashes from the depth of the Holy Sepulchre in a supernatural way, miraculously, and lights up the little lamp of olive oil put on the edge of it. The Patriarch (or the Archbishop), after having read some prayers, lights up the two clusters of 33 candles he is holding, and begins to distribute the Holy Light to the multitude of pilgrims, who receive it with great emotion, accompanied with the pealing of bells, acclamations, and an unbridled enthusiasm.

Temple Mount – Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives

Posted by admin on June 26th, 2010 and filed under mount of olives | 2 Comments »

Temple Mount. Randall Niles views the Temple Mount of Ancient Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives across the Kidron Valley.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is the location of the first and second Jewish Temples, the first built by King Solomon in the mid-900s BC, and the second by the returning Jews from Babylonian captivity in the early 500s BC. In the first century BC, King Herod rebuilt and expanded the second temple, doubling the area of the Temple Mount and surrounding it with four massive walls. The western retaining wall is the longest and still used today as a sacred area for Jewish prayer.

Herods Temple Mount is the Jerusalem of Jesus time. It was this Temple where Jesus taught the people and rebuked the Jewish leadership during holy festivals. The Temple Mount during Jesus time was an awesome site, taking 1,000 Jewish priests and 10,000 laborers nine years to complete under Herod. In 70 AD, the Jerusalem of Jesus time, including the Jewish Temple, was totally destroyed by the Romans.

Since the 7th century AD, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem has been the site of two major Muslim religious shrines, the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Remarkably, the Temple Mount, also known as Mount Moriah, is the holiest site in Judaism, the third holiest site in Islam, and a primary site of historical significance for Christianity. Thus, it has been, and continues to be, one of the most volatile sites on the globe.
